Nabina’s Journey in Civil Engineering
We are excited to share an update on Nabina, one of the bright young students supported by MySmallHelp. Nabina, who completed her schooling with our support, is now pursuing a Diploma in Civil Engineering. This is a 3-year course divided into 6 semesters, and she has just started her 4th semester. Nabina has been performing well academically, successfully completing her 3rd semester, and is now tackling new subjects and challenges. Her dedication and hard work continue to inspire us. This quarter, MySmallHelp provided Nabina with essential textbooks, study materials, and necessary supplies to help her in her studies. Looking ahead, we will continue to support Nabina by ensuring she has all the resources she needs and providing mentorship and additional guidance as needed.
Supporting Bipana’s Professional Journey
We are thrilled to share an inspiring update on Bipana, one of our sponsored children who has shown remarkable perseverance and dedication. Bipana recently completed her Bachelor’s in Optometry in India and returned to Nepal to obtain her optometry license. After successfully passing the licensing exam on her third attempt, she faced significant challenges in securing a job in Nepal. With the invaluable support of Alistair, a trustee from MySmallHelp UK, Bipana returned to India, where she found employment and enrolled in a one-year fellowship program. This opportunity allows her to earn a living while continuing her education and gaining valuable experience in her field. Bipana’s journey is a testament to her resilience and determination, and we are incredibly proud of her achievements.
Manish’s Educational and Career Progress
We are delighted to provide an update on Manish, one of the bright young students supported by MySmallHelp. Manish has successfully completed Grade 11 in Management and is now progressing through Grade 12. To help uplift his career, we recently provided him with a one-month Barista training program. Despite his best efforts, Manish faced challenges finding a job due to the time conflict with his morning college schedule. Nonetheless, we are pleased with his performance and dedication. We remain committed to supporting Manish’s career aspirations and look forward to offering him additional training in fields that interest him.
Dipika’s Academic Advancement
Dipika, another dedicated student supported by MySmallHelp, has also completed Grade 11 and is now pursuing Grade 12. To support her studies, we recently provided her with all the necessary books and stationery items. We are proud of Dipika’s continued progress and are excited to see her achieve her academic goals.

Friends For Global Change, USA visit – Ramesh’s Treatment
We are thrilled to share with you some heartwarming updates, Friends For Global Change, USA (FFGC) recent visit to Nepal in June. Team, comprising Jorge, Sandra, and Liz, had the privilege of meeting incredible individuals and witnessing transformative moments firsthand.
One of the highlights of the trip was meeting with Ramesh Darji, a courageous individual who has been battling Ichthyosis and struggling with twisted legs. Thanks to FFGC for their support and our collaborative efforts, we were able to provide Ramesh with the medical attention he desperately needed. After undergoing treatment, we are delighted to report that Ramesh is now able to walk and even climb stairs—a remarkable improvement in his quality of life.
During the visit, his persistent wound on left leg that required attention. With the help of B&B Hospital and their dedicated medical team, we conducted comprehensive tests including blood tests and x-rays, which confirmed a positive outlook for his recovery. Ramesh has since received the necessary medication and care for his leg wounds, ensuring he continues on his path to full health.
Friends For Global Change, USA Inaugurates Computer Lab At Marybert School In Lalitpur, Nepal
In a significant step towards enhancing educational infrastructure, Friends For Global Change, USA, a charity organization dedicated to promoting education and community development, visited Marybert School in Lalitpur, Nepal, in June 2024. The visit marked the inauguration of a newly established computer lab, a testament to the fruitful collaboration between the two organizations.
The newly inaugurated computer lab is equipped with eight laptops, providing students with access to modern technology and digital learning resources. Alongside the laptops, the lab features new desks and benches, whiteboards, a large monitor for interactive learning sessions, and a meeting table to facilitate group activities and discussions. Additionally, a comprehensive renovation of the computer room was carried out, creating a conducive environment for effective learning and skill development.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by representatives from Friends For Global Change, USA, school officials, teachers, and enthusiastic students. The event commenced with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by a tour of the new facilities. The representatives expressed their delight in supporting Marybert School’s mission to provide quality education and highlighted the importance of integrating technology into the curriculum.
Celebrating Support and Collaboration: A Visit from Vancouver, Canada
We are delighted to share a special highlight from Marybert School in Lalitpur, Nepal. Recently, we had the honor of hosting Harjinder and his brother from Vancouver, Canada, at our beloved school. Raju and Binod from MySmallHelp, Nepal warmly welcomed them, offering a comprehensive tour and insights into the pivotal role Marybert School plays in supporting underprivileged children.
Harjinder and his brother were deeply moved by the dedication and impact of our initiatives. They expressed heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity to witness firsthand the transformative work we are doing together. Their visit reaffirmed the importance of our collective efforts in providing quality education and holistic support to empower young minds.

Marybert Children Home Update
We are thrilled to share the outstanding progress of four exceptional children from Marybert Children Home who are pursuing their education with dedication and enthusiasm at schools outside of Marybert School. Utri, the senior most child, is preparing to sit for her Secondary Education Examination (SEE) this year, marking the completion of Grade 10. Additionally, two students are in Grade 9 and one is in Grade 8, all demonstrating remarkable commitment to their studies and setting a positive example for their peers.
These children are not only excelling academically but also exhibit exemplary behavior and respect at Marybert Children Home. Their hard work and determination are truly inspiring, and we are incredibly proud of their achievements. Their success reflects the nurturing environment provided by the home and the unwavering support of our dedicated staff and volunteers.
