In 2009 MSH visited Bhattedanda School. The school had never been visited by any other charity because of how remote the area is, and how poor the transport links are.
MSH donated school bags and uniforms to the school children. This changed the mind-sets of the villagers to believing in the benefits of their children attending an education. In the first year the number of children in school rose from 44 to 88! With the extra numbers, the school needed another teacher, so the staff chose to cut their own salaries, so they could afford a new teacher.
